Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT TERMS

All payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Payments made via credit card will be treated as cash in advance. Alternative cash in advance (CIA) payments are acceptable via wire transfer or check. COD payments are optional for stock parts only. Any CIA payments will void the customer’s existing terms and conditions.

PRICES

Prices, discounts, delivery, and designs are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed at the time of purchase order submission.

F.O.B.

All items are F.O.B. San Jacinto, CA.

CREDIT

Rama Corporation reserves the right to review and accept credit at its discretion. Cash payments in advance may be required based on the customer’s credit history. Customers who exceed agreed terms are subject to credit renegotiation.

RETURNS

Returns will be accepted only with a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and shipment instructions issued by customer service in advance. All returns must be shipped and insured at the purchaser’s expense with the RMA number visible on the outside of the container. Please contact sales@ramacorporation.com for assistance.

RESTOCKING CHARGE

Stock heaters that have not been used, damaged, or altered can be returned for a 20% restocking charge, with a minimum charge of $40. Modified stock items may not be returned. Made-to-order items are non-returnable.

CHANGE ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS

Change orders and cancellations on products with a binding purchase order will be accepted until production begins. Change orders for better pricing will be evaluated and accepted within 24 hours of the original purchase order. If any changes increase the cost or affect the delivery schedule, Rama Corporation may require a modification to the price or schedule. The purchaser will be liable for all charges and damages incurred due to cancellations or changes.

ACCEPTANCE

All orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions. Orders are confirmed in writing or through drawings/sketches via an acknowledgment copy, except for stock heaters and their modifiers.

VARIATION IN SHIPMENTS

Rama Corporation strives to ship exact quantities ordered, but minor variations may occur. The following allowances represent acceptable variations:

  • 1-20 pieces: +1, -0
  • 21-40 pieces: +2, -0
  • 41 and over: ±5%

WARRANTY

All Rama products are warranted to be free of defective material and workmanship for one year from the date of shipment.

GOVERNING LAWS

All dealings between Rama Corporation and the purchaser, including these terms and conditions, shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Rama Corporation’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of items sold, or a refund of the purchase price, at the seller’s discretion. Rama Corporation shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, arising from or connected with this agreement or items sold.

TOOLING

All tooling charges are partial, and all tooling remains the property of Rama Corporation. Rama Corporation will maintain all tooling to produce the customer’s heaters. If repairs or new tooling become necessary, the purchaser is responsible for quoted repairs or new tooling.

PRIVATE LABELING

Rama Corporation offers private labeling of electrical heating elements. Charges and tooling are separate from the piece price. Private labeling of stock items carries a 15% surcharge for quantities under 100 pieces per line item.
