The Type B Rama Band Heater is engineered for reliable and efficient heating in a variety of industrial applications. Its robust design, featuring a 22-gauge stainless steel sheath and multiple clamping options, ensures secure installation and optimal heat transfer. The standard design utilizes extra-strength full band clamps for maximum clamping force and minimal heat distortion. For specialized applications, Rama also offers 90° facing clamps and pin-and-screw clamps upon request.

• Custom Clamping Options (Available Upon Request):
  • 90° Facing Clamp: This integrated clamp is part of the heater sheath, providing a compact and secure mounting solution. Ideal for applications with limited space.  
  • Pin-and-Screw Clamp: This clamp is spot-welded to the heater sheath and eliminates the need for a separate clamping band. This simplifies installation and provides a very secure hold.  
• Standard Fiberglass Sleeved Leadwires: All standard and stock heaters are supplied with 3” nominal fiberglass sleeved leadwires exiting the same side at each end of the heater. This provides reliable electrical connections and protection against high temperatures.
• Low-Profile Design: The low-profile design allows for installation in tight spaces and minimizes interference with other equipment. This makes the heater versatile and adaptable to various applications.
